General Terms and Conditions
Effective from 18 June 2026
1. Introductory provisions
These terms govern the relationship between SauberEko s. r. o., Ivana Krasku 25/9, 972 71 Nováky, Slovakia, Company ID 57 356 050, VAT ID SK2122719995, registered at the District Court Trenčín, section Sro, file 57060/R (the “provider”), and any person ordering services via saubereko.eu (the “client”). Services include the Sa.Eko.Prs. professional certificate, the Sa.Eko.Verified online verification, company certification and audit, SauberEko® brand authorisation and company access to the candidate database.
2. Conclusion of the contract
The client creates an account, fills in the application, reads and signs the required documents and submits the application. By submitting, the client confirms having read and accepted these terms. The provider reviews the application; the contract is concluded when the approval notice with an assigned reference number is delivered. The provider may decline an application without giving reasons.
3. Prices and payment
The registration fee for individuals is €59 incl. VAT and applies to both the Sa.Eko.Prs. certificate and the Sa.Eko.Verified verification. Company prices are listed in the Pricing. Payment is possible by card via Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. or by bank transfer using the QR code and details in the approval notice. The fee is due within 14 days of the notice. The invoice is sent by e-mail. The provider may reduce or waive the fee at its discretion; the amount is always stated in the approval notice.
4. Certification and verification process
Verification starts after payment. The gold Sa.Eko.Prs. certificate is intended for professionals with at least 5 years of active practice and includes a document check, a practical expert audit and a final assessment. The Sa.Eko.Verified online verification is based on submitted photos, videos and documentation and usually takes 1 to 3 months. The fee pays for assessment and verification — a positive result is not guaranteed. After successful verification the provider issues a PDF certificate or document and lists the client in the Hall of Fame.
5. Withdrawal
A client who is a consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving reasons within 14 days of its conclusion under Slovak Act No. 108/2024 on consumer protection, by e-mail to info@saubereko.eu. If the client expressly requests verification to start before this period ends, a proportionate part of the price is due for services already provided; the right of withdrawal ends once the service is fully provided. Payments are refunded within 14 days by the same payment method.
6. Certificate and use of the brand
Certificates and verification documents are personal and non-transferable. The client may use the Sa.Eko.Prs. or Sa.Eko.Verified designation only while valid and in line with the Code of Professional Integrity and Quality. SauberEko® is an EU trademark (EUIPO 019269791); any other use requires written consent. In case of breach of the Code or false information, the provider may, following the procedure in section 7, issue a warning or revoke the certificate and remove the Hall of Fame entry.
7. Warning and revocation of the certificate
If the provider suspects that the holder of a certificate or verification document has breached the Code of Professional Integrity and Quality or these terms, or provided false information, it may open revocation proceedings. The holder receives a written request by e-mail stating the reason and a 30-day period to respond, which can be submitted in the portal together with supporting documents. After the period expires or the statement is received, the provider decides on the basis of the available information and communicates the reasoned decision by e-mail: (a) close the proceedings, (b) issue a written warning – the certificate remains valid, but a repeated breach leads to revocation, or (c) revoke the certificate. In case of a serious breach the certificate may be revoked without a prior warning. Upon revocation the certificate ceases to exist, the entry is removed from the Hall of Fame and public verification no longer shows it; the client may no longer use the certificate, the Sa.Eko.Prs. or Sa.Eko.Verified designation or the SauberEko® brand. Fees paid are not refunded upon a warning or revocation, as they paid for assessment and verification already carried out. The client may file a reasoned objection to the decision within 14 days at info@saubereko.eu.
8. Hall of Fame and candidate profile
Data of certified and verified persons (name, reference number, skills, knowledge level) is published in the public Hall of Fame. If the client sets an “Available from” date in the profile, registered companies can find them in the candidate search and send a message. The client can change or delete this data at any time.
9. Liability
The provider is responsible for the expert assessment according to its methodology. It is not liable for the client's work for third parties or for decisions of companies contacting the client. The client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data and evidence provided.
10. Complaints
Complaints are sent to info@saubereko.eu. The provider handles them without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days, and informs the client of the outcome by e-mail.
11. Alternative dispute resolution and supervision
Consumers may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body under Act No. 391/2015, in particular the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk). The supervisory authority is SOI, Trenčín Region Inspectorate, Hurbanova 59, 911 01 Trenčín, Slovakia.
12. Personal data
Processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy published on the Privacy page.
13. Final provisions
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. The provider may amend these terms; the version effective at the time the application was submitted applies to the client.

We are a VAT payer (Slovak rate 23 %). For cross-border B2B services in the EU the reverse charge applies; for B2C services the OSS regime applies.
